Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: 12 October 2026
The short version
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something or sign up, I may earn a small commission. It costs you nothing extra, and the price you pay is the same.
Why I do it
I run easycapitalism on my own, without a team or a budget. Affiliate commissions and ads are how the site pays for itself, so I can keep writing, keep the tools free, and keep everything open without a paywall or sign-up.
How it works
When you click an affiliate link, the store or partner can tell the visit came from this site, usually through a cookie. If you then make a qualifying purchase or sign-up, they pay me a commission. I never see your payment details or personal information from these purchases.
What this does not change
- Scores are not for sale. Product scores on this site are calculated from specifications using a fixed formula. A commission cannot raise or lower a score.
- Opinions stay mine. When I give a view on a product, it is labelled as my own opinion, and I write it the same way whether or not a link earns me money.
- No payment for coverage. Any sponsored content will be clearly labelled as sponsored.
- Not every link is an affiliate link. I link to official sources and other sites with no commission involved whenever that helps you.
Programs I use
[EDIT: list only the programs you have actually joined, for example:]
- [EDIT: e.g. Amazon Associates: “As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.”]
- [EDIT: other affiliate networks or stores]
Advertising
The site may also show ads, including Google AdSense. Ads are clearly separate from my writing, and advertisers have no influence over my content. See the Privacy Policy for how ad cookies work.
A note on finance topics
Articles that explain money and markets are for education only and are not recommendations to buy or sell any security. See the Disclaimer.
